I have already removed the existing driver and downloaded the latest from the Dell site but this had made no difference. When you refer to the latest version being corrupt is the next step to remove window 10 and try again as this seems quite a big step. In reply to johnskinnerSP’s post on November 21, I have deleted and re-installed the up to date drivers a number of times.
I have also used the compatibility feature with no success. So where I am is I can’t play games involving HD or run HD dvds since the release Do you have any further suggestions I might usefully try or is it just a matter of waiting for the successor to which is currently withdrawn?
In reply to johnskinnerSP’s post on November 23, It was the drivers however I needed to disable the update driver facility so kept getting the wrong drivers installed. All up to date drivers now obtained from manufacturers sites. This is a DCH driver. Click for more information about DCH drivers.
